This Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy applies to all content, courses, digital products, phonics materials, and services provided by Lingobirds Academy ("we," "our," or "the Academy"). By purchasing, accessing, or using our materials, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Ownership of Content
All materials created and distributed by Lingobirds Academy are the exclusive intellectual property of the Academy unless otherwise stated. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Phonics programmes and structured literacy systems
- Lesson plans, curriculum frameworks, and teaching methodologies
- Worksheets, printable resources, and assessment tools
- Digital downloads (PDFs, slides, presentations, etc.)
- Audio recordings, chants, pronunciation scripts, and listening materials
- Videos, animations, and visual teaching resources
- Logos, branding elements, graphics, and website content
All content is protected by applicable international copyright and intellectual property laws.
2. Permitted Use
Upon purchase, customers are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for:
- Personal use
- Single-teacher classroom use (unless a multi-user license is purchased)
This license does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property.
3. Prohibited Use
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Sharing purchased files with other teachers, schools, or institutions
- Uploading materials to shared drives, public platforms, or file-sharing websites
- Reselling, redistributing, or republishing materials in any format
- Modifying materials for commercial resale
- Creating derivative products based on Lingobirds Academy materials
4. Digital Products & Anti-Piracy
All digital products are licensed to the original purchaser only. Unauthorized distribution or sharing of digital files constitutes copyright infringement.
The Academy reserves the right to:
- Issue formal copyright takedown notices
- Suspend or terminate access to products
- Pursue legal action where necessary
- Seek financial compensation for damages
5. Trademarks
"Lingobirds Academy," "Lingobirds," and all associated logos and branded programme names are proprietary trademarks. Unauthorized use of these marks is strictly prohibited.
6. User Conduct
Customers agree to use all materials ethically and in accordance with this policy. Any misuse of Academy content may result in immediate termination of access without refund.
