Levels 11B, 12, and 13 continue to develop children’s understanding of alternative spellings in English. At this advanced stage, children learn a wider range of spelling patterns that represent the same sounds. Completion of Levels 1A–11A, or equivalent phonics and reading knowledge, is recommended.
