At Lingobirds, we specialise in teaching children aged 5–8 to read through a structured, systematic synthetic phonics programme inspired by the progression used in leading UK phonics systems such as Phonics Hero.

We believe that learning to read should be clear, logical, and joyful. That is why our lessons are carefully sequenced, ensuring children master each sound before moving forward. Rather than memorising whole words, our learners develop the essential skills of blending, segmenting, decoding, and accurate spelling — skills that allow them to read unfamiliar words independently and confidently.

Every lesson is highly interactive. Children learn through engaging digital activities, phonics games, sound hunts, blending challenges, interactive quizzes, and guided reading practice. We incorporate movement, repetition, visual prompts, and multi-sensory techniques to ensure deep understanding and long-term retention.
